Generating Audio

This project used interaction in space to generate audio. Sound markers were mapped in space. These markers were triggered by movement.

The idea that a system can be put in place and left to generate content without the direct intervention of the 'rule' creator was of interest, as was the desire to be able to capture audio representations of a space. The idea of translating something usually perceived visually into something heard was a starting point.

This test captured an 'audio portrait' of a 'First Thursday' event at North Wales School of Art and Design.
